If Streets Could Speak — The Story Behind the Photo Book
Teilen
I didn't set out to make a book. I set out to listen.
There's something about a street that holds memory — the cracks in the pavement, the way light hits a corner at 6am, the people who pass through without anyone ever really seeing them. I've always believed that if you slow down long enough, the streets will tell you everything.
If Streets Could Speak is my attempt to document what I heard.
This 72-page photography book is a collection of moments I almost missed. Moments that don't make the highlight reel. The man sitting alone on a stoop. The alley that smells like last night. The kid running toward something — or away from it. I don't always know which. That ambiguity is the point.
Street photography has always been about honesty for me. You can't stage a street. You can't art-direct real life. You just have to show up, stay quiet, and be ready. These images are the result of years of doing exactly that.
I made this book because I wanted these photographs to exist somewhere permanent. Instagram is fleeting. A feed refreshes and the moment is buried. A book stays. You can hold it, return to it, share it.
If you've ever walked through a city and felt something you couldn't name — this book was made for you.
